Dr. Wayne Sutton earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the reputable University of California, San Francisco and completed advanced cosmetic dentistry training at PAC Live in San Francisco , one of the world's premier teaching programs. He keeps his clinical skills current by completing an average of 100 units of continuing education annually. He also participates in a number of specialized study groups, where he discusses advances in his field with some of the nation's top cosmetic dentists. Dr. Sutton is the first dentist in Northern California to receive his Fellowship in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics. This achievement, recognizes dentists for their excellence in cosmetic dental care and requires advanced study and testing to acquire. Dr. Sutton has also received Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation making him one of the most trained and experienced dentists in cosmetic and conscious sedation dentistry in our area. Payment is expected at time of service. If you have City of Rohnert Park Employees Insurance, you will be expected to make an estimated payment for that portion not covered by your plan. Patients with most other plans will be expected to make payment in full at time of service with reimbursement going directly to patient.

Short term bank loan - We have partnered with a local bank to provide interest free loans (we pay the interest for you) for up to one year.
Long term bank loans - For extensive treatment plans, longer term loans are available.

Insurance

Dental insurance is intended to cover some of but not all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include coinsurance provisions, a deductible, and certain other expenses which must be paid by the patient at the time of services. Reimbursement amounts are not, and never have been, a guideline for quality care.

We can file most insurance claims for you. Please bring your insurance plan information with you on your first visit. We will work with you to ensure that you receive the maximum benefits to which you are entitled.

My Cosmetic Smile Makeover & Sedation Dentistry Adventure

It had been over 10 years since I stepped foot in a dental office sine my early childhood experiences. I was scared and very embarrassed about my ugly teeth. I know that for years, people have looked at me and stared at my smile. I selected a job working graveyard hours due to my horrible teeth and I knew that I had to do something soon. I first heard about "sleep" dentistry on the radio and then I met one of Dr. Sutton's patients who had one of the most beautiful smiles I had ever seen. She was open enough to tell me her story and how here smile was transformed like those seen on the popular T.V. show "Extreme Makeover."

I worked up the courage to call Dr. Sutton's office and schedule a free consultation. His staff was very friendly and professional and his office was modern and incredible. It was very clear to me that I had chosen a cosmetic dentist with compassion and experience. All of the photographs on his walls were his patients and his own portrait photography. It felt more like a spa than a dental office. I was offered a tour and fresh coffee and was seated in one of his treatment rooms where I had the chance to share my concerns. I wanted to know about " sleep" dentistry because it all sounded too good to be true. I knew after meeting Dr. Sutton and his experienced staff, I was in good hands and I was ready to finally fix my embarrassing smile.

After a very thorough checkup including a cancer screening and digital x-rays, I was appointed for my final consultation and scheduled for treatment. I was given a small pill to take the morning of my surgery and my Mother drove me to the office. I don't remember much after that since I was a sleep for my treatment, until I saw my smile. I had seen the computer imaging of what could be done for my new smile, but I had no idea how fantastic I would look. These were only my temporary veneers and I looked beautiful! Most of my friends noticed immediately how much happier I looked and acted. Two short weeks later, my porcelain veneers were bonded in and my new smile was complete. Words cannot describe how beautiful my smile looked.

My absolute most ecstatic moment took place about one month later when I attended my 20-year class reunion. Many of the people only remembered my ugly stained teeth and my shy demeanor. I had over 10 different people comment on how beautiful my smile was! Dr. Sutton warned me about this but I wasn't prepared for it. After my first day with them I was back to eating all of the same foods I would eat before I got veneers. And since your office is close to San Francisco I had to get some salt water taffy and sour dough bread. My teeth feel and look so natural. I can’t wait to go back home for Christmas and show off my new smile to all my family and friends.
